So long..... *waves*

It seems that most of the news lately is about SL as a vehicle for making RW dollars. I certainly cannot fault anyone who is creative enough and motivated enough to make an online world provide a real-life income. I'm just not one of them.

I originally came to SL to enjoy a respite from the stresses/realities of the real world. It was fun at first, but the more SL began to feel like the real world, the less fun it became for me.

I guess it's time to go.

Awww...well SL is what you want to make it really. I wouldn't let anyone effect you so much in that way that you just want to uninstall and move on. I could understand if it were realationship troubles, but don't leave because of the business aspect that some people feed on.

I pretty much keep to myself, my partner and my friends. I do some landscaping for a neighbor for all his apartment land not to make a ton of $ but because I want to help beautify SL as much as I can and make things look nice and inviting for people. I have never wanted to get so involved 'jobwise' in SL because I do enough of that irl and I don't need that kind of stress in SL. Mainly I build, shop, do some landscaping, hang out with my partner and friends.

Even though we have not met, I wish you luck and hope you decide to stay...and if you ever do want a nice stress free place to hang out, give me an IM.
