There are days when they aren't depressing? Lately all the negativity makes me want to stab myself in the eyes with a salad fork. There's still a lot of people that make me laugh out loud on a daily basis, but the signal to noise ratio (or logic to irrationality ratio) has gotten really bad in recent months. Ulrika's announcement is just the icing on a foul tasting cake.

Rather than beat myself over their appearance, I prefer to keep my emotional reserves preserved for when worthwhile human beings disappear.

It sucks, wish I'd known her beyond these forums, if she was as sharp, insightful and witty inworld as she is here, I seriously missed out on knowing an excellent person.
