Anyone ever seen this magician?

I'd like some insight into some of his tricks that he does on the street (no smoke & mirrors around).

Has anyone else seen this guy?

yes. the man is a fruitloop.

He doesn't get very well received in the UK... when he did that thing where he was suspended in a glass box in London, people just constantly threw things at him. Like burgers. Which musta been quite annoying, since he was surviving only on water.

Oh, and one guy climbed the scaffold and tried to cut his water supply tubes.

Personally I think when he did the bit where he was encased in a block of ice they shoulda wheeled him into a freezer and left him there. :p

I have no other insight into his tricks. Other than that he's a fruitloop...

Do you wanna know ho he does the levitation?

He angles himself so his object is diagonally behind him, and then uses his toes on one foot to lift himself up. From the opposite angle, it appears that he is floating.

Yea I have to agree, he is pretty nutty.

But he did hold his breat for 6 minutes, 58 seconds. Which was amazing.

Is he still considered a magician?

I thought all he did now was stupid endurance stunts.

At least Criss Angel still does magic tricks.

The real trick is how he keeps getting publicity for the drivel he does.

Those two are always impressive to watch, and such wonderful showmanship! Far, far better entertainers than David "I can hold my breath!" Blaine.

Well, I do like Penn & Teller. (Yes, I have a twisted sense of humor.)

Still, it's too bad David Blaine doesn't "do it" for you. The tricks I see him do on the street are nothing short of amazing, and he really seems to enjoy what he does in a good sense -- not because of any prestige or power that he might garner in the process.

He also seems to have a good character and seeks to unite people / acts as an inspiration to draw them together, as he explores and even pushes the limits of what a human body can endure. I find him inspirational as a human being, and I've never seen him act presumptuous or conceited.

I'm not sure why everyone here is cutting him down.
