Settled *after* several parts of Marvel's case had allready been thrown out, I might add. http://www.gamasutra.com/php-bin/news_index.php?story=7517From: someone Marvel and NCsoft did not disclose terms of the settlement, but the result appears to allow NCsoft's games -- both City of Heroes and City of Villains, the expansion released in the interim -- to proceed unhindered, allowing players to create characters as they wish, without physical restrictions on what characters look like.
Discuss.

I'd rather NCSoft had won, because Marvel ruined their characters back in the early 1990s. If they don't care about continuity and a well-told story, why should we care about whether Johnny dresses up his avatar as Captain America?
