Ok, I was going to avoid putting a poll in here today, but this begs to be discussed. This site tries to figure out how old you will live to be. So calculate it for yourself and vote here.

I dunno...my test results SAY I'll die at 84, but I'm not holding my breath because of a test on the Internet. :)

Still, it's more of chance than anything (remember the oldest living guy in britain who claimed his secret to long life was cigarettes, whiskey and wild wild women? Henry Allingham, that's his name).

Most of my family live for a long time :)

It is well known that the people of Okinawa have long lives!

When I was just a little girl
I asked my mother, what will I be
Will I be pretty, will I be rich
Here's what she said to me.

Que Sera, Sera,
Whatever will be, will be
The future's not ours, to see
Que Sera, Sera
What will be, will be

Riker, after Picard launches into a long soliloquy about death and giving meaning to each moment of life:

"Speak for yourself, sir, I plan to live forever."

Points, please. ;)

As long as you didn't google it, you get a gold star.

I went with "51-60" and "meh, who cares". The both seemed to apply to me well. :P

Then I found the website. :P It said 66. Sounds about right, maybe a little eager. (here it is, like you care)

My dad died at 49, and I don't expect to last too much longer. My whole father's family died young (30s-50s, and one 70s I think), and my mother's family died old (in their 80s), so I'll probably hit in the 50s-60s.

And of course, who really cares when I'm gonna die? :P

It's kinda scary to look ahead and think about how long your life has seemed so far, and how much of it you have left...

As for the quote...I am a huge Trekkie (*NOT* Trekker, they're not real fans). I've seen almost every episode of TNG (one or two might have slipped by) and is the Trek I grew up on. I never have been that big of a fan of TOS (not that it's bad, I just "fell into" TNG more). Why am I telling you this? Because, I did something that I am very ashamed of, that makes me question my TNG Trekkieness. I read that quote and was gonna say it was from Mr. Spock. ("The Doctor's the baby guy, Leela" - bonus points to teh first person who can tell me what movie that quote was from and who said it) I'm so ashamed... :(

It calculated 77 for me because it didn't ask the right questions.

I guessed 71-80, then the test said 76. Pretty much as I expected. We have had some real old timers on mom's side. Had I lived a little cleaner in my 20s, I may have gotten into the 80s bracket. Can't win 'em all! At least I had fun! :p

When I last took this it told me I would die next year. :( Mind you, I take heart from the fact that I did a similar sort of thing some years back, and it told me I had been dead for five years!

74. Which would make me the youngest since everyone in my damn family lives to be over 85.
