I stumbled upon the link to this site when searching for articles about Second Life. Apparently this is an online game which can go far beyond the socially acceptable limits of SL. A quote from the website: "This game contains violence, sex, politically incorrect behavior, blasphemy, and lots of other things which are not acceptable to many people."
Apparently you can be raped in this game as well, an activity which I consider de-humanizing and base. Two screenshots follow. Screenshot 1

.... I was just very shocked (and to an extent disgusted) that any company would put out a game that contained the possibility of rape. I am in the belief that whatever sexual practices you engage in, wether in a MMOG or in RL, it's okay if it doesn't harm anyone and is consensually done in private. Allowing rape into an online game certainly does add realism, but at what cost? Ok, I'm getting off of my soap-box now. Have a nice day everyone. And Happy Holidays!!!

i was game staff there for awhile...it was fun until politics wrecked everything. now its just a big ole mess

For those that can over the monster/magic aspects, Soc is provides more realism to those who fovor the Gor type of lifesyle and of course their main demographic of those that wish to cybersex.

Sex animations are built into the client, grabing and chaining both npc and pc, drinking(which if done in excess can affect your chat), and of course much of the rat race of collecting and leveling up. A legal system, with a jury of peers, police, and PVP perma kill options, tend to calm most criminal activity. Spreading diseases and pregnacy to continue your blood line also exist in soc.

It should be mentioned that all these aspects are available here in SL, thought they are created by end user and not quite as smooth as Soc. Gor has it's rape, clubs have it's drinking, PVP is available, and pregnacy can be bought. In soc they warn on the front page; here in SL, they hide in the shadows, but they still exist if you wish to find it.

Sociolotron has been around for two years in beta... its and odd lil game...wont say anymore.

On the other hand the site warns about the possibility. Just see it as consenting to play a game where your character might get raped.

Your character does get raped. You need to harvest goods in the wild, cotton etc.. and the npc will rape you if you are alone and your character can get pregnant. I played in beta, and my character was raped, it bothered me and I never played again.
