Appeals Court Backs N.C. in Bill of Rights

Apparently, the NC copy of the Bill of Rights (which the signatory states received at the time it was signed) was stolen during/after the Civil War, and has been clandestinely traded among private collectors for the last 150+ years, until an FBI agent seized it from 2 documents dealers in CT a few years ago.
The dealers have been claiming they actually have a legal right to it, for some reason -- since they weren't selling it on the open market, one assumes they KNEW it was stolen goods, and therefore that they DID NOT have a legal right to possession.
However -- good news: the US Court of Appeals has finally ruled in favor of the state of NC, the legal owners of the document.
This is alot like the thieving lawyer who hacked SL's land auction page -- "I stole it in good faith, your honor, I'm entitled to keep it, since it's worth SO MUCH MONEY -- PLEASE?"
