Demanding money with menaces!

Just thought I'd share cuz I'm still giggling about it.

Last time my window cleaner came for payment, a friend was here and said 'ooh! I need a window cleaner, ask him if he can do mine?' which I duly did.

But a few weeks later, and he'd still not been round. So he's just been again, and I asked him about my friends place.

'Yeah I been doing it for weeks!'

Turns out, he's got the wrong door number...

So basically he's been turning up at some poor womans house every week and saying 'Just washed your windows, love, thats 2 quid you owe me' and she's been paying him without question... probably too scared to say anything since he's already done the job. LOL

Thats one way to expand your business if you have the balls, I guess!

Dude, my time is worth more than 2 quid, by the time I've got a ladder and all the equipment together and done the damned job!

I'm very happy to pay someone else if they're prepared to do it for a pittance and use my time to do something less boring instead.

Besides. he might hurt me if I don't pay!

Close the blinds and pretend they're not dirty. That's what I do. Its even cheaper.

Wait...you mean I am actually supposed to clean the windows???

Maybe he started out as one of those homeless dudes that "cleans" the windshields of motorists trapped at stop lights and then expects to be paid for wiping his spit off your windows..
