Yes. This state is terminally fucked, and so is the rest of the union. The present crops of cheats, capitalist-polititians, and would-be tyrants just happens to be from Texas at the moment.

I don't know why you're surprised.

Delay masterminded the gerrymandering that got Texas the extra Republican congressional seats... to say nothing of getting the TX legislature under Republican control. The Anti-Delay vote was diluted by the number of opposing candidates. The results of the open election will say more than the primary.
