Cat-Call

On the wall I sat so still
And watched the world go by,
Every scent that passed my nose
Just left me feeling high.

I watched the people walking
How strange they seem to move,
Standing straight on their hind legs
The other two removed.

And why those silly faces
When they make those funny sounds,
Saying things like Puss Puss
I wonder what they’ve found?

Here it comes a heavy hand
Another broken back,
I’d better duck or brace myself
Before it knocks me flat.

Now look who’s here, the blonde one
I love her warm caress,
I like to rub around her legs
While looking up her dress.

What’s this I fear has seen me
Fresh from out the pound,
It’s time to disappear
I hate those bloody hounds.
