I'm thankful for the Edwardian coat you made and gave me a copy of. I wore it just last night and was delighted with it :D

I am thankful for a loving family, great friends and a good job. I am thankful to live in the United States, for all its warts I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. I am thankful for a God who loves me, faults and all. I am thankful for the friends I have made through this crazy thing called Second Life.

There is much more, but that is nuff for now. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!! :)

The other day I was licking jelly off some guy's cock and I thought to myself, "My God, I'm turning into my mother!"

I'm thankful I saw Neehai's sig today. It's the funniest thing I've read all day, and yes, I've been reading the Chuck Norris thread(s) and Kris Ritter's posts (yay Kris!)

I'm thankful for my husband because he's also a good friend.
I'm thankful for having a family I'm close to, who's supportive without being intrusive.
I'm thankful for having a close circle of friends who 'get me,' and who I know will always be there no matter how far apart we drift geographically.
I'm thankful for being able to work from home in my jammies.
I'm thankful the lawn crew has finally turned off their really loud mowers/edgers/blowers, because for a while I was doubting they ever would.

Mostly I'm thankful for having things in my life that make me laugh on a regular basis, which includes the first 3 things listed above.

I'm thankful that hurricane season is almost over and I still have a roof over my head (even if it is a little leaky).

I'm thankful to finally be moved into my (new to me) house.

I'm thankful to have my husband to share it all with. :)

I'm thankful to have friends who have come every weekend for the last five weeks to help me pack and move. ;)

I'm thankful to have patient co-workers and a boss who have put up with my craziness with all the new drugs the doctors put me on.

I'm thankful the drugs are working. :p

I'm thankful...
...For having known my family, most of which are still alive and help me paint
...For having a tolerable and sometimes satisfying job, nice new home, a fun car, and all my other materialistic pleasures
...For having enough time and money to exist in SL at all, even if it's not perfect
...That there are people that care about the world
...That it's time to go home!!!!!

I'm thankful for the family that loves me regardless of all the hell we've been through.

I'm thankful for friends made in my first and second life, they're a loving, thoughtful, and crazy bunch and heaven knows where I'd be without them.

I'm thankful to be alive and in decent health (okay so the gallbladder attack sucked but I'm here!).

I'm thankful to God for not having struck me down for my many, many, many faults and for being there in my darkest hours when nobody else could be.

I'm thankful that I've got a roof over my head and food to eat.

I'm thankful that even in the face of disaster there is still enough goodness in mankind to shine through.

I'm thankful to have loved and lost for it's better than never having loved at all.

I'm thankful that I'm able to do the work that I love and that I have a second chance to dance my life away, old or not. I'm thankful for the friend who became a great teacher. (<3 Neph)

I'm thankful for the quiet moments when the world seems still and I can hear myself think.

There are so many things I'm thankful for that I couldn't list them all here but despite the complaining all year long, I am blessed.

Last but not least, thanks Water for loving me regardless of everything and all that we've been through, no matter where we end up. I'm not easy to love!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone :D

Ok, so its not thanksgiving over here... BUT im'ma join in anyways.

I am thankful for my friends and family both RL and SL that have always been there for me, whatever the circumstances - you guys rock.

I am thankful I have a happy, bright, healthy 5 yr old girl, whos laugh makes me smile and whos lippy answers to everything make me thankful I ain't her teacher.

I am thankful that I am me, depite all my flaws, I wouldn't wanna be anyone else.

I am thankful that there are kind, welcoming, people in the world that will pull together in the face of disaster.

I am thankful that I have found someone I dare to call my soulmate ( I love you ) and I thank him for putting up with my constant mood swings :P

I am just thankful, for everything I have and everything that I can give to others to the best of my ability.

I am also thankful for the forums that get me through the day, even if its pissing myself at kritter or wanting to punch teh screen at asshats :)

Thanks you guys, each and everyone of you :)

Blows them back. :)

I'm thankful that all my teeth haven't yet fallen out, that I have a bit of hair left, and, well, I suppose basically, that I'm still alive and kicking!

I'm sad tonight for all those the world over who have almost nothing to be thankful for, and that in some cases, it is partly our fault.
That some of our thankfulness (for material supports) has been bought at their expense.

Thats how reading your posts made me feel.
I'm sorry, but that is the honest truth.

Thankfulness
11-24-2005 20:48
a few things i'm thankful for..

..an education that i'm fairly proud of

..not being normal (aka - being me)

..chaos

..logic

..the aesthetic beauty of everything

..the ability to help others in whatever way i can, when i can

..friends and family... gotta love 'em

..nature

..technology

..knowing that those in power aren't always the ones who should be

i suppose when it all comes down to it. i'm thankful for a mind that can freely observe my environment as well as freely express myself in whatever ways are natural for me. and just as importantly, that others can do the same. almost everything listed here can fall under that description.

there is so much to be thankful for it's mind-boggling.. not to mention, being able to be aware of things that aren't so great. being aware of the negative helps define the positive, but nonetheless.. there is negative.

-

the holidays are a time of juxtaposition. there is boundless celebration, love, harmony.. but there are increased suicides, depression and more.

the weird thing is, we may wish for a perfect world... but you know what? we already live in one. positive, negative.. good, evil.. as cliche as it is, we need both sides as mortal humans. to exist purely in one state or the other would drive a mortal insane.

so, i'm thankful for everything.. good and bad. as much as i hate travesties and the like, it's a part of our world.. our universe. the beauty of all that is.

please, don't think i approve of genocide, homicide, rape or rejoice in natural disasters. but if you can step back.. way back, to the edge of the universe.. it's just one big broiling universe of happenstance. the beauty of chaos married with logic is astounding.. i think that's what it ends with..

i'm thankful for what i don't know.

I am thankful that my sig was deemed inappropriate for the audiences of this board. I thought everyone here was mature, but it seems there are more children than I thought.

I have changed my signature to accomodate this children.
