Maybe a n00b question
, but still : what does "cosplay" mean ? I've come across it a few times and I have no clue ( well a little one ) what it means... Is it something like RPG ? Thanks _____________________

Is it something like RPG ? Thanks "cosplay" is short for "costume play". It usually involves dressing up as a favorite anime or RPG character. It's sometimes used in live-action RPG's, but mostly just for fun at conventions & things like that. |

As said, it stands for "costume play". It originated in Japan, and Japanese cosplayers can sometimes be very "serious" about it - actually walking around and talking "in-character". Most cosplayers are just "dressing up", though, and that's all it really needs to mean - wearing a costume of a fictional character you like.
