I played it in beta. Started playing again about 6 months ago for a bit. I *really* love the game. But, I just don't have time for it and SL and RL.. One of the few games I miss not being able to play though.

I tried it in beta, but didn't like it. Then I tried it again when it was free and still didn't like it.

I played when it first came out. It was a great game concept with a poor implementation at the time.

AO has FREE accounts now? I must admit it wasn't all that interesting to me because I like cyberpunkesque things that take place possibly within our lifetime (i.e. 2050-2100 AD) so I never even tried it.

Played for three years daily achieving a high level character and all the "phatz loot" you can get ahold of. The grind of the 200+ levels and constant Heckler killing did me in. I lost my will to pound rocks all day.
