Being an ex-soldier, albeit Australian, I'll take the opportunity to wish all servicemen/women - past and present - a pleasant Memorial Day.
And for those no longer with us - what we say on Anzac Day:
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn,
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
we will remember them.
Have a beer for me.
