Based on the title alone, it was too good to pass up

Heh, I just watched a National Geographic show on "Cane Toads" in Australia. Interesting! Didnt know it wasnt covered in cities like the USA. And has any Australian tried to use Cane Toad venom in large doses to kill someone?
Australia has some really neat animals! Extinct or otherwise. ![]() |

And has any Australian tried to use Cane Toad venom in large doses to kill someone? I don't know of the poison being used to kill anyone, but it's been reported in the papers that people have licked the toads to get high. They have recently reached Kakadu National Park in the Northern Territory, and crocs have been found dead after eating cane toads. _____________________
I'm sorry officer, while the term "Mad Scientist" may seem to be appropriate to some, the Professor prefers "Science Related Memetic Disorder".

First Olivia Newton John and now demon ducks! Australia never ceases to amaze. Actually, you can blame the English for her, though I guess we shoulder some responsibilty for supporting her early career. Mostly, blame yourselves though, you're the ones who put her in a major movie. _____________________
