The Old Gamer (song humor)
Sometimes, you just have to enjoy a good laugh. To that end, I'm sharing this to cheer the day of any other old gamers out there!

His computer's getting old now,
and his console's getting frayed.
But he's still got his nintendo,
and all his favorite games he played.
All of his friends tell him to get up with the times,
just can't afford to upgrade when it cost's his every dime.
His old system still work well now,
To throw it out would be a crime...
He likes to play Doom now,
on his PC when he's bored.
But all his friends are say'in,
Doom 3 is thier new lord.
So he goes and buy's a copy,
and he loads it in the tray,
but the damn thing keeps complain'in,
his system just won't play.
Good lord he has to upgrade,
he just did that yesterday!

Should he keep his old console,
should he buy an X-Box two?
He's an old gamer,
and his skills just ain't the same.
he don't want to be the best now,
He just want's to sit and play a game.
He was sure back in the eighties,
atari was the way to go.
But nintindo came along then,
with it came a whole new show.
And these system seem to change so much,
there's just no way to keep up.
He just can't afford to replace,
every system when it's dumped.
Oh, his wallet's getting thin now,
He's not gonna pay no more.
