Yes.. China has been censoring for a long time.

However, I still find it absolutely stunning that such terms as "democracy" would be censored. Hard to wrap my head around that.

I guess I need to get more jaded

Democracy and Communism are both stable, sound systems of government. The problem is, you can't tweak Human nature.

I blog @ Blog-City and awhile ago, China blocked the whole blog-city.com domain because of a certain Chinese blogger. Here's an old article about it.
