I know we have a fair number of MMORPGers around, so I thought I'd ask.

Is anyone else awaiting this game as much as I am? I've been drooling about it since I first heard about it, but getting concrete information out of them as to when it might be otu is like pulling teeth.

What should such fellows as I do crawling between earth and heaven? We are arrant knaves, all; believe none of us.

Well, I hadn't even heard of this one till reading your post. But now I am signed up for the Beta, and I love the looks and concept of the game (screenshots). I've been a big fan of the Pirates game since my early C=64 days.

I heard about it, but it is getting information about ANY new MMORPG title coming out, especially if they're in development (or rumored to be) or in beta testing.

Sometimes one just simply has to wait I guess.

Been waiting for this one for a little while (is a couple months behind so far, but I think that is normal for MMORPGs). Also signed up for beta, finally a pirate game where I dont have to play a male character.

Ya me and a buddy of mine back east have been waiting for this for months now. We played Pirates of the Carribean (when I was visiting him) and loved that. This looks to be just as fun now with actual people to play with. Wooooo Hoooo!!

Unless they put in a Japanese Navy, I'm thinking no :)

Seems the names I usually use are English or Irish in origin, so i'll have to make up a new one... if they do end up having the French navy as an option. Hooray I get to research! ^_^

[Edit] I'll go with... Esmee, Genevieve, Olivie or Rochelle.

And yes i'm a nerd, I know.

I especially like that they aim to try and be at least a little historically accurate. I don't really find the idea of fighting "monsters" appealing. I wanna be in beta :(

I'll take that.... ;)

Undecided on country, navy, etc... but I always seem to lean toward the lawless...

My name will likely be the same or similar... has been in a few games (although SWG I was a Twi'Lek so had to make it a little more exotic ;) )
