http://www.mrc-cbu.cam.ac.uk/~mattd/Cmabrigde/This is an internet urban legend. No such study at Cambridge has been tracked down. There have been a few which showed fast readers are capable of decoding misspelled words very quickly, however. This is not the same thing.

Urban legend or not, I am amazed at the speed of the decoding. It's almost as if I'm reading at full speed.

I love urban legends... and now with all the translations into other languages... it will spread even further.
