I recently joined up plaing WoW with a bunch of people from SL. I love the people from SL that are there -- it's the rest of the population that gets on my nerves. • Why do random people think it's okay to come up to you and start talking to you while you are obviously in the middle of dealing with a bunch of MOBs? • Why do people stand and watch you fight something that you can easily handle, only to hit it a few time when its near death, and then run off without saying a word? They didn't get XP from it. They couldn't even loot it. What's up with that? • Why do people invite you to a group when you've expressed no interest in questing with them, fighting with them or even walking alongside them? • Why, when running from point A to point B, is there at least one person coming towards you that attempts to stop you to say, "Hey," and then to stand there in total silence? /me steps off soapbox.

Maybe you have to update their BIOS.

You're just not used to a "platform online" where there are lots of people around and not just you and 3 other people in the same sim. LOL

The people who say: "Why do you want to solo? It's an online game, grouping is a vital part of the interaction. Otherwise you'd be just playing a single player game."

People who believe in trial by combat... 'I can beat you in PvP, so I'm right!'. (anyone who chooses to believe that this means I'm really horrible at PvP is probably dead on the money )

I play MXO (sporadically because it sucks) and I found an instant solution to people running up and offering to kiss me, etc. (interactive animations). I offer to duel them. Shuts them up every time.

From: Jonquille Noir "a/s/l?" What damn difference does it make? That one often sez more about the person saying it than who they're saying it to! (Esp. if it goes unanswered.)

What I don't like in WoW are people who want to duel me without asking first and a lot of times they are several levels above me.

One time I was going through Thunder Bluff and was challenged to a duel 4 times before I could get out of the city. Did I have a "Duel Me" sign on my back or something?

They make themselves feel good by beating up weaker people, but are too [scared] to do real pvp, where they know they'd get their [butts] kicked because they suck at the game.

I know ganking is part of the game and it is why I am enjoying the PvP server, but boy it can get annoying. Especially if an Alliance member ganks me and then lets the NPC kill me so I take a durability hit.
