I want to Punch the Mac in the face. and were the bloody hell they get off saying PC's are for "pie charts ect"

Id love to see a Mac run Half life 2 Episode 1 like my PC..

Unfortunately there are Mac users (not all) who think they are superior because they use mac. This mac ad campaign...feels like they are catering to that. I use a PC I put togeather myself, I am careful and haven't had a virus cause problems in years.. Though I've had alot of time to try and use macs (or being forced to use them....) I simply prefer the PC and Windows XP, I just feel there is more that I want to do on the PC (the speed difference is not noticable to me, its really a few seconds isn't worth another $1000 IMO),I have more control over whats put into my system, (as with macbooks you usally must take what you get from apple, and maybe can add your own things later), its also alot more expensive for hardware that is getting more and more similar. (though there's only so many things compatible with OSX, which is why OSX will only runs on PCs with a certain build, common apple you've opened one door, why not another. Windows will run on a mac's hardward though.) also *insert general rambling about gaming limitations and inability to right click normally* (yes i know macs can right click with a regular mouse but they don't come with one.)

I wouldn't have anything agaist mac users, but then I've met some that seem to have something agaist PC users. (I'm a digital artist btw..or so I tell myself.. Its a high crime to not like using macs apparently, and I need to be cleansed and converted.) You get dirty looks if you say anything negative about macs, you get lectured about how much easier and virus free it is (and this has nothing to do with better security, macs don't have virii because they aren't made for macs as much...also less people are trying to find the holes in the OS, though apple might be better about fixing those holes, M$ is bad with that.).

Also get things like "It's the industry standard, its better".

Things are different,and whether or not they are better is something for the user to decide. Not anyone else. I like my PC and notebook that I got the chance to put togeather myself. It's more personal to me, and I got to learn abit about how the hardware works. Yet there are some mac users who look down apon me, and think they are better.

Though I understand some have a hatred towards Bill Gates..and the mac interface is quite sexah. The software for video editing on a mac is pretty nice as well. So some people have reasons for using macs, they prefer them over PCs for several reasons.

Why in the world do we have to attack each other for it? Make one another seem inferior? Both commercials/parodies play to this. Its not true. We both have negatives and positives. Really its just your opinion that defines what one is better. Watching the mac ads is as insulting to PC users as this parody is to mac users.

We are different, but in the end the targa file we export is the same. Lets have peace mac users! (and some I've met are pretty hot , maybe something more than peace...) Cross compatiblity baby.

True, I cant really bash a Mac. The only killer for me is- I cant build one myself!!!! (but it is fun just to poke fun at the Mac folks & watch 'em froth at the mouth like Evangelists ranting about stuff)

Ok,and its easier to make/get a living at fixing PCs since there are more around. But, I'd love to get my hands on a Quad CPU G5 w/ 16 GB of RAM. HEY! I can dream of my ultimate PC AND Mac

What's really fun for me is reading through the posts and seeing all the misspellings. Macs have universal spell-check. Even works in the web browser!
