Okay, I guess bad luck follows me around like a rain cloud over my head... seriously WTF? Last night I went to check on my 928S4 and noticed a water bottle sitting on top of it... some f*cktard smashed the passenger window in and decided to rummage through my neat and obviously empty car... they got nuthin because there was nuthin to steal... but now I'm stuck payin a $300 insurance deductable which I really don't have the funds for since I'm trying to pay bills during a work stoppage... and to top that off, the window will have to be flown in from Germany so it will take at least 2 weeks, and having to get the shop to match my special factory metallic paint (it was available for only for a couple of years)... they won't even have any time available for paintwork until mid/late november so i'm stuck without a passenger window for at least 2 weeks, and scratches on my passenger mirror and door until at least mid/late November... oh yeh, $300 I could've used for things I really need but now I guess I have to get this done... because some f*cktard decides to smash my window in and found nuthin to steal... 600-700 for the window and a few hundred for paintwork.. thanks a lot a$$hole for causing over a grand in damages... f*cking thieves...
I've been awake for almost 30 hours now because of this... f*cking bites but hockey game is on in 3 hours... must... stay... awake...

Edited to add.. btw dont feel bad i had a brand new truck with 12 miles on it stolen from outside my apartment when i lived in the states.. literally 12 miles on it.. and you know what those 12 miles on it was from? me driving it off the lot to the place to get the windows tinted to my apartment..the bad thing.. it was paid for with cash.. insurance didnt want to total it when it was found beat to oblivian and back.. they wanted to repair it.. and it had 20k miles on it.. i explained i didnt buy a truck with 20k miles on it..they didnt like that.. so i signed it over to the junk yard.. have i lost faith in insurance companys? YES! _____________________

That really sucks. I absolutely hate thieves. Any prints on the mysterious water bottle that was left on the car? Maybe I watch too much CSI, but I would think the police could check. I know in cases like these tho, the police really couldn't care less. I know that from personal experience...

Often the original owner rarely drove it, kept it garaged, and had all the maintenance done by competent mechanics. You can find them with under 100K miles and in great condition for around $10K. |

I had both of my cars hit last year. Had to get a new window for one, and a new lock/minor bodywork/alarm for the other. On top of that, I had to get pedal locks and clubs for both. All of this because someone had to have less than 10 bucks in change and 2 gallons of washer fluid. Assholes.

What other weird things have you guys had stolen? My friend just had his apartment broken into via the window a couple of months back. What wasn't stolen from him: TV, Computer, DVDs, CDs. What was stolen from him: Maybe a 20 in weed. What was SMASHED TO SMITHEREENS: His >$200 vaporizer. _____________________

Maybe someone saw they had stolen your CD player, thought *he'll be needing tapes from now on* felt really sorry for you a spent a fortune buying you some tapes OR the theif needed a CD player because his tape player was broken and thought at the same time as stealing it *well won't be needing these anymore*... _____________________
