Why can't I be accused of intolerance for a change?

So I'm sort-of-friends with one Groucho Mandelbrot, right? And somehow, he managed to get accused of being supposedly intolerant of alternate lifestyles (despite speaking out strongly against a post that was blatantly intolerant and had no action taken against it that I know of and despite the fact that my lifestyle is very alternate in more than one way, and I don't find him the least bit intolerant). Okay. But my point, and (to steal blatantly from Ellen), I do have one!  ... is this: Why can't I get accused of intolerance too??  I mean, I think I've done my part. If you read some of my comments about the evils of organized religion, I think you can conclude that they are, while heartfelt, really pretty intolerant, actually. That should count for something! I mean, I'm just saying that I feel a little left out here. That's all. |

I have noticed that it's not okay to be intolerant of furries, goreans, or gays, but it's okay to be intolerant of gays.
Yet it's somehow okay to bash religion or religious types. Isn't that just as intolerant as "OMG-FUR! TEH GROSS!"
