Dear Lord,

Please find the guy who made the parentheses in most fonts hang way down below the baseline and do something bad to him.

Making his mouth seal up like Agent Smith did to Neo in Matrix might be a good start.

Dear Lord,

Thank you for inspiring the creators of the graphics programs that every signmaker uses to include the settings labelled "Baseline Shift", "Scale", "Kerning", and "Tracking", so that we may adjust font proportions and placement to fit our projects as we desire. Thank you also for inspiring those who have developed font editing and creation programs, such as High-Logic's Font Creator so that for as little as $65.00, those of us who may be unhappy with pre-existing fonts may modify them or create new ones in any way wer see fit. Please bless these people with smiles and good fortune, for they have enabled each of us to control our fonts any way we like.
