Long story, too long to confuse you here... but does anyone know of anywhere within a couple of hours drive of Philadelphia that offers 'swimming with dolphins' ?

Lewis,
It is a one to two plus hour drive to the ocean from Philly depending on where in metro area you start and which New Jersey shore point you are headed to. I can say I am not familiar with any 'swim with dolphins' at the jersey shore but a quick google showed me two places that take you out to view the dolphins. If a tank swim is a consideration, check out the Adventure Aquarium ( http://www.adventureaquarium.com/index.cfm?sectionID=180,186,0,0 ). If you aren't in a rush for this info, I can ask around. Also, other Philly peeps in SL may know more then I and post here also. Do not hesitate to contact me in world Sorry I couldn't be more help at the mo florenze _____________________

That would be fine if it wasn't for the need for scuba certification... which needless to say the person I'm thinking of getting this for doesn't have.
I'm just putting "2 hours drive from Philly" as a benchmark drive, so people know the general area I'm looking at, rather than... say... Florida. No hurry right now for this information. Lewis _____________________

Basically anywhere in Washington, DC. That's where all the politicians and lobbyists are.
Oh, DOLPHINS, I thought you said swimming with sharks. _____________________

This was actually a serious request... is there a more appropriate forum to ask?

Oh, DOLPHINS, I thought you said swimming with sharks. Sharks are there to protect you all from the dolphins. http://www.cafepress.com/anti-dolphin/ Big Grin! |
