O.K. here is an update of some of the things I did from the list.
* Finish Christmas shopping - didn't buy a thing.
* Water your plants - Yeah, I put water in my x-mas tree.
* Take a shower - Did that.
* Sleep - Did that.
* Realize it's not real life and a few hours away may do everyone some good. - Did some soul searching and meditation.
* Paint your nails - I have someone do that for me.
* Paint your bedroom - What do I look like a painter? I put that one down for those who were really bored.
* Clean your house - Did that.
* Change your clothing - This goes along with the shower thing so I had no choice.
* Realize that the FBI and Interpol have better things to do then go after people taking down grids on a virtual game. - Yeah I know that already because I posted it.
* Did I say paint your nails? - Oh did I say that I pay someone to do this for me?
O.K. So what else can I do now?

My mum came over for a visit, so that kept me out of mischief for a bit, and then I took two old pcs upstairs to my new office ... well it's my bedroom but it has to accommodate some extra things to make way for the Christmas tree.
But no matter what great plans I have for filling time during an update I always end up in the forum. _____________________

just out of curiousty, do none of you have to work? i don't mean that in a bad way, cause believe me, i'd love to not have to work. there just seem to be a lot of people that have all this free time during the day. as for me, i'm stuck at work, but still have nothing to do.

* write a 90 page grant that is due January 11, but which I just got assigned to do today--when everyone I need to talk to about the grant is gone on their between semesters vacation and not returning to work until January 9...
(or I could just read SL forums and write the grant in between WoW sessions at home during my vacation, making up most of the information that goes into the grant out of sheer spite for lazy Ph.D.s who don't care about a little grant that barely matches their annual salary)...erm, sorry, that rant came out of nowhere, I swear!! _____________________
