- Birmingham has a sex shop of three floors right in the city centre
- SL has malls that trap you in when you want to get out of the telehub
- Birmingham has a mall that traps you in when you want to get out of New St station
- SL is plagued with lag, unless you pay for your own sim
- the M6 around Birmingham is plagued with lag, unless you pay for the M6 Toll
So, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the proof - Second Life was modelled on Birmingham.
