Just got an offensive message in SL from someone named Craig Fluffball. Was presented as a question in one of those notices the Lindens and groups send to folk. Does anyone know how to block such messages in the guise of questions...none of the Lindens anwered me when I asked.

This sounds like someone sending an IM to a group you are both in. The only way to "block" them would be to leave that particular group. (It wasn't a Linden message, which you can't block that I know of.)

You could look at his profile to see what group you have in common, and proceed from there.

Ty..yes..i've already checked his/her profile..it's fairly 'alt'istic..ie...not a group to be found. No picks. No tags, save a cryptic 1st life image. Guess it was a 'hit and run' offense...have informed the Lindens..but don't think anything will be done. Have my msgs sent to email so have a copy of the email.
Such is life in the metaverse of SL. It has its growing pains...this fellow for one.
Off to dabble in 3D with my 'busy' on. Dunno if that blocks those types of msgs/polling questions.
