Big TransFan here going back to G1. The most striking part of that vid for me is it can transform hands-free.

Hahaha... remember the general rule, Decepticons can fly unassisted? Also, those little heat transfer stickers that you rub and they show allegiance?

i swear i was almost addicted to those stickers!

if i remember correctly, i used to hang out in Kay-B's and rub them on any that i could. is it just me.. or did i use to practically get my fingers stuck in the plastic packaging trying to reach those stickers? lol..

and yes, when i had a chance to i would either buy them or ask for one from my mom..

wow, that reminds me of Voltron! i remember trying to convince my mom to spend about $100 on a large die-cast metal Voltron with all 5 lions.. siting that it would be worth lots of money years down the road.

she didn't buy it.. my story or the toy. *grr* ..how much are those worth now? honestly, i don't think i want to know.. :(

I got one and was the happiest little boy ever!!!!!

...

until the plastic (yes plastic) tail that was used as the arm joint broke off, and Voltron was forever gimped (his sword arm if im not mistaken)

:(

I still haven't gotten over that or when my 4th grade teach tore up my GI Joe comic # 26 when they showed snake eyes with no mask and explained his history ...

:(

I never brought comic books to school again after that

Come on, admit it... it didn't break off all by itself! Someone was a bad, bad boy...

I never had voltrons, but I did have a ton of transformers, including the big super-deluxe Optimus Prime.

Starscream is still my favorite though. I'm sooooo trying to avoid buying that new big Starscream they are selling now, on the basis that "It's a toy, and I'm in my 20s"... But if I walk past it one more time in the store, I don't know if I'll be able to...

Cid, my son just watched that video with me. He wants to know how much it costs. When I told him "your big sister" he said, go online and get it NOW!

P.S. Reitsuki--he got the big Starscream for Christmas ;)
