Christmas makes children sick!

Not all children, just mine. Both my daughters went to their Granny's for a Christmas meal and afterwards went to my older daughter's boyfriend's family's home for some not really needed desserts.

Today both my kids appear to have food poisoning and I am hearing the sounds of them throwing up repeatedly.

So remember, just because it's Christmas doesn't mean one should leave food out for long periods of time to facilitate after mealtime snacking or to make food instantly available to stragglers.

Use the refrigerator and the microwave, that's what they are there for.

This has been a public service announcement by SuezanneC Baskerville.

My youngest was violently sick this Christmas, as a result of concussion after a head injury.
Poor wee thing spent half of his christmas in A&E dept of local kids hospital.

And all because he got overexited by all the new stuff, fell, and cracked his head.

So, I would like to amend Suezanne's statement.

Ugh -- this happened to me last year, thanks to a punch bowl full of eggnog.

Raw eggs should not be left out in room temperature all day! Duh!
