Ok I know there has to be many of us. How many people here are spending their well payed for time doing something SecondLife related, while you should be doing your RL job. Whether it be in-world or way to much time on these forums.
If so, do you spend it some how generating SL revenue for yourself also?

I spend probably a few hours each day on the forums. Mostly, I just lurk about. Occasionally, like now, I post. There's something really satisfying about getting paid for doing this.

I keep SL forums up ALL day EVERY day, work pc, laptop, home pc, everywhere.
Hell, even on desk (I work in a uni library) i had the SL forums up and all my work "buds" were asking questions about it! If anyone from Northampton University is looking for me, I ain't home.

I usually lurk in the scripting forums 4 hours or so a day, occasionaly popping into OT when bored. And most of my Sl releated "slack time" is not spent generating revenue, it's usually working on some weird pattern seeking project or something random along those lines .

Like Willow, I have the forums up along with my email. Other people take smoke or coffee breaks, I take forum breaks. ,

I am wise with slack-fu. In fact, some might say I have a plethora.

<---- 100% slacker ninja teh mad skillz to out-slack anyone. Master of the art of half-slack (if you need to ask, then I can't tell you because it is a slacker ninja thing) Nothing like a job where 100% of other staff including your boss does not really understand computer technology enough to tell that I am infact not typing up a 5 page instruction manual for people to figure out AIM yet again......

<looks over his cubicle wall to make sure him and Mike are not at the same office. Unfortunately, in the real world he doesn't see people's names hanging over their heads, so he yells out "Mike Westerburg!" - when nobody responds, he immediately tells everyone that yelling "Mike Westerburg" will help the printer queue's from going slow or locking up. The entire office spends the rest of the day yelling "Mike Westerburg" at their printers.>

Right now, I'm downloading some RPM package to my test system, so I can kick back for a few minutes until it's done.

..Is it possible to be a slacker when your place of employment only wants you three-to-four hours a day, one or two days a week, and you never even touch a computer while you're there? ..Oh, wait.. Yes, it is. Pizza is slacker-food.

Guilty Also I sneak in-world from time to time for 5 minutes or so when something comes to mind that I don't want to forget about.. But overall my work gets done..
