As of tonight, they are projecting it will be a tropical storm when it hits Florida, or a weak hurricane. It may even weaken from a tropical storm, though it is still something to watch very closely. It also seems to be moving very fast, based on the timeline indicated here:
 Needless to say, I am a bit wary right now, but I will get prepared this weekend instead of being ambivalent about it this time. I hope other people do the same. Everyone is weary and overwrought,but there is no sense in not being prepared just in case. _____________________

ARRRGGGG!!!
 I'm trying to freakin move this weekend and they are picking up my pod tomorrow morning. I was supposed to be moved LAST weekend but that was delayed thanks to hurricane WILMA because the pod people could not get to their warehouse to get to their trucks. Plus no power in most of the city of nearly 3 weeks. Woohoo. Originally, my move got delayed four weeks because the pod people could not get the pod to my street because KATRINA had knocked down trees and they were blocking it, then it got delivered, I loaded my stuff, all was good and Wilma hit. When they finally do pick up my pod, I should just tell them to keep going north with it.  Even more nuts, ever tried selling a house after a hurricane? The city of Ft. Lauderdale's computers are all hosed up and title searches etc. are all backed up for months. What a CF. Getting home owners insurance?? Ha ha... Good one. Every bloody thing you try to do is like pulling teeth without novicane. I beginning to feel a little like a character in a Hiaasen novel.  OK rant over - stay safe Cris, Jeffrey and my other Florida buddies. . . _____________________
