Ok, somewhere along the line, windows seems to have got the idea I have 2 monitors. And is occasionally trying to open extra windows into it.. Wondering where the option is to tell it I don't?
ALSO I've downloaded Firefox 1.5.1 and I have a gray bar at the bottom of every window opened with it.

try your graphics card software (NVIDIA etc)
the card ussually tells ur puter u can accomodate 2 moniters _____________________

Thanks, that was it, just LOTS of options to go through Yeah--lots of deep schtuff in those drivers, including the sweet antialiasing controls for a smoother-looking SL. _____________________
