Geez, who doesnt love a good Godzilla movie? Ok, not counting the "american made" one. I liked it, but it just lacked the charm of the old 50's & 60's version. The new Godzila films are excellent too! The effects are 100 times better & Godzilla is back to being a bad-ass-city-stomping-lizard. Godzilla just plain ROCKS!!!
My 2nd favorite would have to be the lil' twins that would sing to Mothra.
My 3rd Favorite would be Gamera The Flying Turtle!! Just got done watching several of his movies on DVD.

Does anyone know of a site that lists all the Japanese giant monster flicks? I'd love to be able to look for some that were on TV when I was a kid. I mean, even the bad ones were good.
Anyone remember one were these two guys, good guy and bad guy turned into giant oriental dragons on strings and the fights were just their heads slapping together? I think there was a clip of that in MST3K. |
