Idiots. To me the whole cartoon fiasco perfectly illustrated why radical Islam is so deserving of being lampooned. I've not read the Quran but according to a friend of mine who has there's nothing in it that prohibits images of Muhammed. Apparently that's a tradition that has its roots elsewhere. Do they even read their own book? The world needs more blasphemy, not less.

I'm confused about the "including use of photographs" line. Does that mean if I take a picture of the rioting muslims, I'm breaking this law? (Moot point, thank God I don't live in that country) I mean, the pictures basicly lampoon the religion without any outside help, so...

Apparently there was already a law against blasphemy. The UK has one too.

Furthermore, no one does a better job of lampooning Muslims than Muslims themselves, as in the picture of the Ronald McDonald desecration posted in the forum yesterday. The constant chants of Death to X are uttered so often that those who say them have become living, breathing caricatures. Somebody arrest them.
