I hate to see a human kiss their dog on the lips. It makes me feel awkward in some way, and seems highly unsanitary. Ewww factor: 10

Heh. Odly enough perhaps for a furry, I'm more or less the same way... but I've never heard of anyone getting sick from it, so I don't really get THAT grossed out. It's just... not something I would do.

Well, if you think about kissing the other end of the dog the lips seems reasonable.

... I hope not many people think of that though!

Funny thing is, people always say "My dogs mouth is cleaner than a humans'', but that really isnt true!! I always thought it was till I watched a science show (or did i read it somewhere?) that their mouths are just as germ ridden as ours but they're not germs that would bother us (normally). Vice versa for us kissing a dog.

Hey, I'll be the first to admit to giving hugs & kisses to my cat (and dog when I had one) but never on the lips. BLEH!!! Licky dogs' tongues remind me of raw liver.
