I know with rl retailers whipping out Christmas decorations before the halloween stuff is even off the shelf, things can get pretty confusing. In light of this, I'm posting this friendly reminder as a public service.

It goes like this:

Halloween (October)

Thanksgiving (November)

Christmas (December)

Please make a note of it.

I saw lit up fake Christmas trees for sale at my grocery store a week before Halloween this year.

I see your 1 week before Halloween Christmas trees, and raise you with simultaneous Halloween and Christmas decorations in Sears during the first week of October. :D

Well I went shopping for some SL Christmas Decorations last night - was nice to see some of the things out :) Personally, I can't wait to see all the items. Decorating the houses/sim is such a pain sometimes .. I would prefer to put it up and leave it for awhile before having to change it again.

Local Wal Mart had a christmas isle in August. Went into Office Depot last night and they were playing christmas songs.

Jesus, save us from your retailers!

Yeap went shopping today and was happily keeping my daughter under control until Christmas songs started playing.

Now I have 1.5 months of IS IT HERE YET, IS IT HERE YET, IS IT HERE YET, HOW MANY DAYS, HOW MANY SLEEPS, IS IT HERE YET, IS IT HERE YET.

We have a local radio station that started playing all christmas music all the time starting the day after halloween and our across the street neighbor exchanged his big blow-up green scull for a big blow up polarbear, santahat scooby doo, and snowman. SHEESH!

I totally blame the turkeys. They *have* to be behind this madness.

I'm so glad we don't celebrate Thanksgiving in the UK.
