Latly my other pc that use a myst500w make one of the highest pitch sound that drills inside your brain you can think of ;_; sign of to much stress on it? Its one of those sounds not everyone can hear...boy do i hear it , for a long range. Pondering nicking my brother one (well its mine theoreticly -.- i bought it) 600watt one, just suddenly got it o.o hurt...ears headacheee maker

Probably its 2 years old now 'ish, could open and see if i can replace it -.- but thats easier said then done with this cube pc o.o barly long enough cable to motherboard <.< about 1cm shorter it wouldnt have reached  ... urg but then again what am i doing online noooothing,

I have to replace my motherboard once every year or so. Simply because it gets burnt out. I'd imagine that the PSU does the same thing, so I guess its a good idea and practice to do that maintenance.
Unless of course, you're not a heavy user.

Unless of course, you're not a heavy user. Every year or so? In 10 years of building my own, I've had one motherboard up and die on me out of the 10 I've owned. You must be very unlucky.

Heh, dont feel bad Einsmen. I have a friend who has the worst luck with having computers built. I've built dozens for other people with no problem. His is always a problem. Power Supply, motherboard, processor, video card. Just seems as we get one new part, another fails. THEN when it's working fine at my shop, he gets it home and within 10 days it starts having problems. I'd say it was him, but he's not a total "computer illiterate". We're trying to decide if it's either the house's old wiring or his (somewhat) retarded brother messing it up.
As for your motherboards burning up, having you considered water cooling as an option? Or if you have a bit more $$$ to spend, Phase-Change Cooling, which is basically a refridgerator for your PC?

 blah figured it out, its the Seagate harrdrive, knew i should gotten WD instead, first time in ages i got a seagate -.- loud whiney sound. ( seagate barracuda 7200.10 320gb sata2 ) Oh well they are cheap
