people who most badly need to see this movie would never watch such unpatriotic blasphemous propoganda.

my gf and i saw the movie and concluded al gore's time would be better spent building a bunker and stockpiling canned food and ammo.

:(

It's true... I told all my friends to see it, but then again, all of my friends know all about the problem already.

It's too bad really... all we can do is keep trying and hope.

I'm glad he shaved his beard though.

How was the movie? We're planning a date night out specifically to see a movie (see them now before you have a baby) and we're arguing between IC and Superman. Guess which one I want to see? :D

superman:

you already know all the inconvenient truths. otherwise, why would you be keying up all the SUVs?

good movie, well put together slide show, but really only worth seeing if you are able to drag an suv driver to it.

It's so good! It doesn't leave you all depressed and mopey afterwards like other movies by unpatriotic blasphemous traitors either, it's really uplifting.

I want to see Who Killed The Electric Car? as well when it comes out... (damn you "select theaters!";)

Oooh. I forgot about that one. Perhaps that shall be the one we see. We're in San Francisco, so we're almost guaranteed a theater in its opening weeks.

Most movies like that are only in Seattle at one theater and I don't wanna drive all the way there...

Hopefully it'll come to the one near me like Truth did.

I'm gonna start telling random people walking down the street to go see it.

Maybe key the website on the side of a hummer ^_^

Off topic, but I saw the stupidest hummer commercial today... it was the one with the lady putting her kid in line for the slide, anyone else see that? It boggled my mind. And at the end they had the 20 MPG/Highway prominently displayed like it was something to be proud of. I couldn't belive it.

"Get your girl on?" What the hell kind of stupidass slogan is that? Do they think women are dumb enough to have that be the one thing to impact their desision in getting one?

I'm sorry I wish I could drive a hybrid but,

1. I am too big physically to fit in most of the current hybrids
2. I need a fullsize pickup truck to pull my wife's horses around
3. I use my truck when I work on the farm
4. I need 4 wheel drive

so until they bring out a hybrid that can do what I need from a vehicle I am stuck destroying the environment

You have a legit use for it so no problem, its the people driving them to the office or taking the child to school who should be taxed to hell for using them!

With everybody ELSE on the road driving a full-size truck or a monster-sized SUV, I just don't feel safe in a Geo Metro.

That, and I pull trailers, haul a sound system, and often carry customers' computers.

I would have bought an electric car, but GM destroyed them all... why, oh why?

Speaking of which, has anybody read about the research in to capacitance batteries? I read an article a few weeks ago that says we might have an alternative to current battery tech soon. :-)
