I don't really care. 1.9.1 is as good as 1.10. I don't really think, the new features justify a minor version jump but I couldn't care less ;)

There would be a Professional Edition that would cost a couple hundred dollars more and would just allow better bling handling and the ability to turn off primdong-rendering.

A whole book? I got a double sided 8 1/2 x 11" sheet of instructions. I still have copies to reference commands I don't use too often. Sadly, I don't work on unix machines anymore, but Vim gets me by when I need to write a program. :)

lol. that command confused me for year until I find someone with a book I can asked with :D Before that I can't even find a way to exit vi without close the terminal window :p
