I want to know if it's just me, or if there's other out there with this problem.
It seems that I get disconnected from the internet entirely more often when I'm running SL. The wireless connection I use barely disconnected at all when I'm just surfing, or even doing more bandwidth-hogging activities such as internet gaming, or even running p2p programs and BTs.
It's not just that I'm more aware of disconnection while running SL - I always know about my disconnects, trust me.
SL is the only program that seems to do this. Wondering if it's just me, others, or some SL thing...
(I hope my ISP isn't capping transfers x_x)

I have noticed an increase in disconnects on my wireless as well. Not sure if it's my hardware, my ISP, or SL. I get on my PC though which is wired to the same router and it works just fine without losing connections. Hope this helps  Mad |

im on a 802.11g connection and have 0 problems with it ... but im getting strong signal strength too.
but realisticly you could be disconecting wile your surfing the web or reading your email, there is no constant datastream like in SL its on a per request system. so it could be hapening and your just not noticing it, on the off chance i do loose signal (its happened maby a cupple times) its usually only for a second or 2
