Radeon 9000 question

I have an older radeon card (9000) with 32 mb ram and meet the other system requirements for second life (broadband, 800+mhz, 640mb ram). I am able to run other games in 1024x768x32, and dxdiag reports that I have AGP acceleration enabled. However, SL fails to switch to any kind of fullscreen mode and I get texture corruption after a few minutes. This only happens in SL, other games including AO, EQ2, and DAOC work great.

Also, after trying (and failing) to run SL, dxdiag will report that I no longer have AGP acceleration, or hardware D3D support of any kind. Anyone know how to fix this? I just got the newest Catalyst drivers, updated my AGP controller drivers and reinstalled Dx9.

Anyone?

question withdrawn. I'm running Windows ME. Next time I'll read ALL the system requirements.
