I apologize if this is posted somewhere. However, I am not sure how to even search for it. I am a not technical person. However, I remember when there use to be a picture in one of your SL folders that was the splash screen that would show while loading.
You know how every so often SL saves a new splash screen. Well, my current one is horrible. It sucks, big time.
Does anyone know where they hid this picture now? And/or is there a way I can force SL to make a new splash screen shot?
Thanks,
Jen

It should update when you successfully log out (ie, not crash).

SL keeps two login 'splash screens'. One of the last location, and one of your home. Depending on what mode you have your startup location in preferences set, it shows one or the other. The last location screenshot is updated on every log off. The home location only when you change your home location. So if you're using 'home location' and want a new picture. Just re-set your home location.
Oh, and if you like to get technical, both pictures can be found (on windows machines) in:
C:\documents and settings\[username]\application data\second life\[sl accountname]\screen_last.bmp (or screen_home.bmp)
It's probably a bad idea to change it directly there though.

Thank you Rickard and Damanios, the only time I reset my Home is when I forget to go home first, when leaving Help Island. If I TP directly from HI to somewhere other than Home, it changes my Home setting to that location. That must be why it rarely changes?
I will force set it.
