hey I was wondering if any of you have experienced this problem. As we all know there are certain regions/actions that can only be performed if you have verified credit card information on your sl account. I have all my credit card information inputted in my SL account and I even went ahead and did it over a couple of times but ingame still does not recognize that I have inputted the credit card information already.

Whenever I try to go into an area ie. Combat Samurai Island Edo, I get this message "cannot enter parcel:no payment info on file is missing from alerts.xml!" I have also checked that I am not banned in the region.

Also whenever I try to pick from a money tree that requires that you have credit card information in your SL account account I get a message saying that I havent and should go input my credit card information in my account, thus not allowing me to pick from the money tree.

When I go to "my account" on the SL website, It clearly recognizes my credit card information because it is no longer "update pending" It clearly says the type of the credit card that I have used for this SL account. I have tried AMEX, but upon further readings in the forum I found out that AMEX has had problems before with SL. Therefore I tried putting in a Visa credit card but it still will not recognize ingame that I have already inputted this information.

Please help!!! =(

I have the same exact problem and also submitted a ticket but it was summarily dismissed because I am a mere basic user. Not exactly the way to endear yourselves to retaining new members who are evaluating this as paying customers.

Anyone have a response to this issue?

Buy 1 US dollar worth of $L. That usually does the trick.

Jannae (hope I spelt that right) is perfectly correct, until you actually use your card to buy lindens it wont actually register on your avi as payment info used am afraid.

buying something will be "Payment Info Used"... but not buying something should be "Payment info on file" as long as the info is on file. usually have to log off and back on after you try it, and you can check in your profile if it says "No payment info on file," or one of the other two options.

but like the others said, most just spend USD $1 to go to Payment Info Used, as its basically the highest level of payment info options, the same level premium accounts get.
