So many users come here for help and get what?? Time after time I have seen ppl pleading for help because of the crashings and the unavailability of teleporting from one place to another without being logged out, crashing, some cant even log in. I to am having teleporting problems and now I find that I am stuck in one place as everytime I try to teleport I crash. Now I wonder if I mention that every time I try and use "Voice" I crash, would that make a difference, would I get some help from Linden Tech ppl, I doubt it. Do they really come here and read these postings, I doubt that to cause if they did they would see just how many of us they are pissing of because of the inventory loss, money loss, crashing when crossing regeons and all the other crap that is going on within this game. It dont matter if your a premium user or a basic user we ALL put rl money into this and we deserve so much better than we are getting. Come on Linden's, if you do check this out, put some more effort into resolving the teleporting and crashing problems, help us enjoy the game like we use to, and leave the Voice to a later date. I have tried everything and I am sick of updating my drivers, which I may say are at the latest, I am sick of un-enstalling and re-enstalling the game and still get the same problem. If it was my computer then why is it that others are experiencing the exact same problems as I do, I am sure they dont have the same computer I have.

fact is, there is nothing any of us can try on our end. I'm hearing from all my friends right now that TPs are failing all over. Half the time I sign on, Friends list doesn't load (as in, a long list of 'waiting'). When I can TP I'm Ruthed at the destination and it takes a long time to actually TP.
Look on the website, nothing.
Blog, nothing.
Why does there have to be 10 posts about SL falling on its face before LL wakes up and does something about it? Are they even watching things, seeing them get worse and worse so maybe they can start doing something to fix it before SL becomes totally useless?
Instead hours into an issue we get the blog entry 'Grid slowdown. Our alarm clock has finally gone off and after morning coffee we're going to take a look and maybe start to come up with something to bandaid it together for a few days. Thanks for your patience, bluntskull. One last thing, make sure your payment is on time.'
I would think they were actually on their game and paying attention if I ever saw a blog entry: 'You may not be experiencing this yet, but we are seeing a grid slowdown and an increase in the frequency of failed teleports. We are looking into it and ask that if you are failing TPs, please be patient and know we're on it and will have a fix soon.' I have yet to see anything resembling this.

Yes they care. When an aspect of a game (in beta) or a plateform like SL (always patching) is being complained about constantly, the bigwigs are made aware of it.
However, there are so many things being worked on at a given time, it's impossible to fix them all at once. Would you rather they shut down SL for a month, two months, three, and come back out with a solid product? If they really gave you that option, how many of you would take it?
And then you have to realize that because SL is a user-generated platform, you will always have new obstacles to overcome…the truth is WE are contributing to the instability of the platform…in a sense that is.
In my opinion, there are soooo many more pros than cons. This dynamic environment is a blessing…even though there are bugs that come with the package.
If you find yourself continually complaining or getting ginko'd...it may be time to seek entertainment elsewhere.

can see different pro and cons

OMG Michael you sound like one of a rare few that must not be having as many problems as the rest of us. I think all we ask for, or expect is, for one thing to be fixed at a time before introduceing something else

We do not expect LL to close down for a lengthy amount of time but to be reasured that they know of these problems and that they are working on a solution would be appreciated but like always we dont get nothing. If it seems like we are complaining, well I guess we must be, but hey we did use to enjoy this game and still do. Some of us have made businesses in there and others have poured so much money and effort building what they could call a fantacy Second Life, should they be expected to walk away from all that? Should they be expected to forget about the amount of money that they have invested, which I bet is heaps, and just walk away because they expected more. Or should those who have paid so much rl money towards this so that LL could expand and introduce Voice and all the amazing other things that this has to offer, expect the stabitility of the game before introducing any new projects. I think I can see the pro and cons to that.

Most reasonable people don't think the Providers should shut down, but they do want a product that works reasonably well for the Quatloos they are sending to LL. You shouldn't have to pay to be a Beta tester. Personally SL works reasonably well, but a lot of people are not as fortunate.
