Trouble with mouse in edit mode

This happens to me on my computer, but not to me on other computers.

I right click a prim not owned by me, click edit, and I can't see any of the data about the prim or its texture. Sometimes if I click again I get some of the data, but if I move to another tab, I see nothing.

I'm guessing there's something not set right with my mouse settings, either in the SL configuration or in the OS. (XP).

Any suggestions?

This happens to me also.

My work-around is rather than right clicking, go into edit mode and then left click the object. Works for me.

( I am assuming you have unchecked "select only my objects" in the tools menu)
