Hi all,
I am not sure were to post this anymore since all the preview areas on the board have been moved to the archives. Anyway has anyone logged into the preview lately? There is a interesting new feature (a tab in the inventory) called Recent Items. Apparently it keeps track of the items you have picked up, changed altered. I don't know the details to how long but this does appear to be a nice feature, especially for those with large inventories. HOWEVER, now folders are sorted as well as items. Up until now folders were shown alphabetically, but items you could select weather they were sorted by date or by name (alphabetical).

Well the problem with this is I have everything organized the way the current system is, and to just change it like that will make it 2x as long to find something (I will have to sort alpha to open the folders I want then when I am at the level I need, switch sorting back to date). And I don't really want to reorganize the whole inventory (whew). Not to mention it will still be less efficient then what I have now. I also suspect that many others will run into this same problem. I think it should be a option to sort folders or not. We are getting this update Wed, so we need to speak up about this fast.

You're right! If you choose "Sort by date" on 1.10.2 Preview, the folders are also sorted by date, unlike all the past versions of SL I am familiar with. (I only go back to 1.7.0, so I can't say what life was like before that.)

I don't know whether this is considered a bug or a feature. It might be nice to have both the old and new behaviors available.

I'll forward this to our QA folks to see if it's intended behavior.
