weird colors

I just started playing SL today. However, i noticed that unless I am zoomed in as close as I can without mouslook activating, All the avatars look greenish-yellowish.

I have a Pentium 4 2.66Ghz, 1GB Ram, Radeon 9700 128MB RAM, etc...

Disable "avatar vertex program" in the graphic detail preferences and it should cure your problem. This comes up a lot in Live Help.
