LL spends their time making this game better for you. BETTER. Take a look at Planetside for god sake! Do SONY get this crap? NO. Because frankly, people there can take stuff in their stride. People there have lives that... hmmm... DON'T revolve around Second Life? Strange isn't it, that you can't live your first without your second, now that it's not there for you?

No. just NO. This game has NOT been experiencing log in issues except during times of vast server load, and now. This crap I'm reading about waiting for version [insert idiotic number here] IS crap. I mean, jesus... a few days where is takes a few tries to log in? the HORROR.

Can't log in? Don't know what to do? Well, take the Lindens' advice and KEEP TRYING. Maybe some of you are unlucky, maybe some just forgot to connect to the net, but it works. I live in the UK, and I've been reduced to a 56k recently while my broadband is upgraded. I can log in just fine, in one try, so this BSing about related is just wrong. Again, try turning on your connection.

Seriously... take a good, long look at your reactions to this, and think about what you've actually said.

Firstly if you pay for a product you expect it to work as shown.
Second there are hundreds of MMORPG's not exactly like this but they don't have any issues with loging in like this.
Thirdly Some people come to this game to get away from there RL maybe for a break from the rush or do things that they couldn't in real life. IMyself for instance I can't do things that other people can cause of a health condition so this is my best way to connect with other people. f your RL is so great for you well i'm happy for you but not everyones is.
Fourthly you don't have any right to critisize anyone else for posting there opinion's as obviously you just posted your own out.

So maybe next time instead of being inconsiderate of other people and attacking them maybe you should just post things in favor of the game.

Whereas I'd actually agree to the original poster given any other circumstances, I would. I think it's funny that people cry and stomp when SL has been acting up for a couple of hours.

In THIS case, however.. this has been going on for days now. There are people who pay a *lot* of money for this game. Things will not be fixed until Tuesday. You can't seriously not expect people to be upset.

I did. Everyone else isn't.

Anarchy Online had that issue years ago, its fixed never had problems ever logging in that again after they had finally got it fixed (something that seems impossible to do with SL)

I have played alot alot of mmorpgs, yes they all had issues with logins , but they actually do work eventually, or they have a queue that let you in (eventually) just not randomly drops you,,, altho Linage2 beta was quite fun, spamming enter trying to login

Oh Sony?, they suck we all know who tried their games, they dont really care and rarly bother doing what their members want, (see planetside/swg/eq2 lol) i tried nearly all their games (dumb me) cause i actually thought id like one, eh not for me, but some might

For those who pay loads of money they except to log in hell eventually!, i would, 1 day not to bad, but its been going on quite awhile now, image paying loads of money and not being able to use it (sounds like my car )

And is see youre in UK, yes its easy for euro's (im one) to log in at our daytimes, try log in at nighttime 01-06 middle of night at weekends,

I do agree the more people who are in SL harder it is to log in, it chockes in weekends bad, when most want to play, offcourse they are going to be annoyed,

Image working all the time get home you want to do something and you cant, dont tell me thats not annoying , first times you dont make a big deal of it, the more it repeat itself more annoyance you can build up towards something that annoy you, like for exsample, oooh.. the Login in SL

Yes, after about 2 years. SL was launched in June of 2003. They're barely 2 years old.




Most MMORPGS don't deal with 20% monthly growth, or really any sort of growth. Most MMORPGS have a sudden surge of players at launch, then it slowly tapers off until the game is cancelled. Go to MMORPGchart.com and look at most of the charts; way up, then slowly (or in some cases, like TSO, quickly) going down.



Folks that are paying hundreds of dollars a month for a product that they KNOW is rough around the edges get what they pay for. They have no one to blame but themselves.
