Hey Everyone,
Im having problems with my SL. when it starts up on my desktop, a message pops up that says SL needs a video card with 32MB or more of memory with a multitexture support. They reccomend an nVidia Geforce 2. My SL worked for months and months before, but now this happens all of the sudden. I checked the status of my video card, which is an nVidia Geforce 4 and it says its running fine. I emailed the lindens and of course I got no response. Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Aaron :D

Are you running the latest drivers from Nvidia?

Linden Labs enabled AGP acceleration on smaller GeForce cards with this patch.

Try setting the mode in Preferences/Options

I have a GeForce 2 MX400 and it runs fine.

Jane -

Do you know how to get into your Windows "Device Manager"? If so, go in there and look for the "Video Card" or "Display Adapters" area. Make sure ONLY the nVidia card is showing. If others are showing, remove / delete them. Then try rebooting and updating your video drivers again with the latest ones from nVidia's website.

Let us know how it goes!

Take care,
